What is WhatsApp Catalog?
WhatsApp Catalog lets your customers browse and order products directly within WhatsApp without having to leave the app.
Before You Begin
You must have WhatsApp Business Integration or WhatsApp Business App Integration set up
Find this in: Admin > Settings > WhatsApp Business
How to Set Up Catalog Sync
If You Created a New WhatsApp Account with Take App
โ You're all set! Your catalog was automatically set up when you connected. No further action needed.
If You Connected an Existing WhatsApp Account to Take App
You need to complete two steps:
Step 1: Give Take App Permission
Go to Admin > Settings > WhatsApp Business
Find the Catalog section
Complete the Facebook Login when prompted
Take App will create a product catalog in your Meta Business Manager
Step 2: Connect the Catalog in Your WhatsApp App
Open WhatsApp Business App
Tap "Tools" (bottom right corner)
Select "Catalogue"
Tap the menu โฎ (top right)
Select "Catalogue Settings"
Tap "Connect catalogue"
Confirm your Facebook account
Select the catalog named "Catalog for XXX" (where XXX is your WABA account ID)
When Will My Products Appear?
Products sync hourly
Allow up to 1 hours for products to appear after connecting
Need Help?
If your products don't appear after 1 hour:
Check that you selected the correct catalog
Verify your products are active in Take App
Confirm your WhatsApp Business account permissions are correct
Contact Take App support if you need additional assistance.
Note
WhatsApp Business catalog sync does not support product category.
In WhatsApp Business catalog, variants will appear as a single product.
Example
When your customers select items on WhatsApp catalog and create a cart, they will create a draft order on Take App.
When they click "Place Order", they will be redirected to your store's form page to complete checkout.
