You can add custom items directly in the Mobile POS app when creating an order. This is useful when you want to include items that are not listed in your product catalog.
When should I use this?
A product is not set up in your catalog
You need to quickly add a one-off item
You’re handling special requests or manual orders
How to add a custom item
Go to Checkout in the Mobile POS app
Under Items, tap Add item
Select Create custom item
Enter the following details:
Item name
Price
Quantity
Tap Add to order
The custom item will be added to the cart immediately.
Notes
Custom items are not saved to your product list
They are only used for the current order
