The Keypad feature allows you to quickly record payments without selecting items. This is useful when you want to charge a custom amount, collect a quick payment, or record an offline sale.
When you're signed in, tapping Mark as Paid creates an order and saves it to your store immediately. When you're using the app as a guest, you can still enter amounts and save orders locally on your device; those orders are not synced to a store until you sign in. Guests can also add payment methods (e.g. QR or link) on the keypad; they are stored on the device for quick use.
The Keypad supports:
Cash payments
QR payments
Payment links (generated as a QR code)
How it works
Open the POS app and go to the Keypad screen (or tap the Keypad tab on the New order screen).
Enter the amount you want to charge.
Select the payment method (Cash, QR, or Link as QR).
Tap Mark as Paid.
Once you tap Mark as Paid, an order is automatically created. The order will include a custom item called "Payment" with the amount entered.
This allows you to quickly record transactions while keeping your sales reports accurate and up to date.
