With subscription products, your customers can prepay for recurring deliveries (e.g., 4, 8, or 12 times), and you can incentivize them with volume-based discounts. This is ideal for products people buy regularly—like meals, groceries, supplements, pet supplies, or flowers. Here’s how to set it up and manage subscription orders.

1. How do I Create a Subscription Product?

  • Go to Admin > Products > Create Product

  • Change the Type to "Subscription"

2. How do I Adjust Settings for Subscription Product and Provide Discount?

  1. Go to the Product Settings page.

  2. After changing product type to "Subscription", check the "Subscription Options" card just below it.

  3. You can configure:

    • Delivery Interval: Choose how often the product is delivered, with "Every week" being the most frequent, and "Every 4 weeks", being the least frequent.

    • Number of Deliveries: Choose how many deliveries customers prepay for (e.g., 4, 8, or 12).

    • Discount Tiers: Set discount rates based on the number of prepaid deliveries (e.g., 10% off for 12 deliveries).

These options will be shown to your customers during checkout.

3. What happens if a customer creates a subscription Order?

  • Their chosen plan appears on the invoice and in the WhatsApp Order message.

  • You can view all subscription order details in your Order Dashboard.

Confirming and Managing Subscription Orders

Once you receive a subscription order:

  1. Change the order status from Pending to Confirmed

  2. Take App will automatically generate multiple fulfillments based on the subscription plan (e.g., 4 fulfillments for a 4-week plan).

  3. Each fulfillment includes its own delivery date and tracking information.

  4. Delivery dates are automatically calculated for you — making it easy for you to stay on track.

Tracking Customer Subscriptions

Each customer’s active subscriptions are listed in their Customer Details page, so you can always see what they're subscribed to.

Once all scheduled deliveries are fulfilled, the order will be automatically marked as "Fulfilled."
