The difference between the I have paid and I will pay later buttons on the payment page is discerned through the payment status indicator that written in the WhatsApp order message.

When the buyer clicks I have paid, the WhatsApp order message will automatically indicate Confirming payment. This way, the seller can easily verify payment without needing to request it separately.
