Accept Credit Card Payments

​To enhance your business transactions, accepting credit card payments is essential. Once you subscribe to a paid plan on Take App, you can utilize payment methods that support credit cards. Most automated payment methods offer credit card payments, ensuring that the payment status is automatically updated via API integration with the payment gateway.

Supported Payment Gateways

Depending on your country, select the appropriate payment gateway from the following list that supports credit card payments:

  • Stripe (Global)

  • PayPal (Global)

  • Xendit (Indonesia, Philippines)

  • RazorPay (India, Malaysia)

  • MercadoPago (LATAM)

  • Pagadito (LATAM)

  • PayFast (South Africa)

  • PayStack (Africa)

  • DPO (Africa)

  • And more

Steps to Start Accepting Credit Cards

1. Sign up with a payment gateway
Create an account with your chosen provider. This typically includes a KYC (Know Your Customer) process, where you'll submit documents to verify your identity or business.

2. Complete verification
Submit all required documents and wait for the payment provider to approve your account.

3. Connect your payment gateway to Take App
Once approved, integrate the gateway with Take App:

  • Go to Admin > Settings > Payments

  • Choose your payment provider

  • Follow the integration instructions (API keys, credentials, etc.)

4. Test before going live
Make a small test payment to confirm the integration is working and that payment statuses are updating automatically.
